The Mari Sandoz Heritage Society is offering an annual research award of $1,000 for proposals that emphasize new insights on Mari Sandoz or ways to explore her life or her work. The Society hopes to encourage and rejuvenate interest in Mari Sandoz by offering this award. This call for proposals is open to undergraduate and graduate students to conduct research. Possible topics include: feminism; American Indian issues; activism; environmental issues; and social/cultural issues.
